More than 20 years of teaching, across two countries
Little Birds LA is owned and led by Victoria Kuzina, a professional educator with a Master's Degree in music and education and more than 20 years of experience across two countries. In Ukraine she taught in kindergartens and the K–12 school system; she spent six years as a teacher and was then elected to serve five years as Director of a Ukrainian Saturday School, “Ridna Shkola.”
In the United States she has spent 10+ years as a childcare teacher. A mother of two, she brings a warm, hands-on approach to every child. We've cared for Gardena families since 2023. She speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
Learning through play, music & wonder
Our curriculum is enriched with music & singing, acting & performance, painting & arts, dance, yoga & mindful movement, early math & counting, early literacy & letters, and multilingual language activities (English, Ukrainian & Russian) — with indoor and outdoor play, water play, story time, and free creative exploration every day. Beyond a daycare, Little Birds LA is a haven of exploration, creativity, friendship, and joyful learning.
Music & performance

Arts & crafts

Safety is the quiet work behind every happy day
Our staff is trained in Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED, and California Mandated Reporter training. We meet California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Child & Adult Care Food Program standards — so the meals and the care both hold to a clear, dependable bar.
